Learning Experience/Process
- What stood out in this learning experience: In this learning experience the thing that stood out the most for me is the facts about Thailand. I found it interesting to know what their law is and then compare it with ours. I didn’t know Thailand could be so different to New Zealand. Another thing that really stood out for me is that i didn’t work with my friends, i worked with two new people to the school that i didn’t know and got to know them both by working with them. One last thing that stood out for me is that we made such a simple poster and it turned out to be pretty effective.
What I learned
- What did I learn during this process: During this process I have learned a lot of cool things. I have learned how to write and present information in a pretty cool way, also I learned that you don’t have to work with your friends, to work with other people and to work collaboratively. Something else I learned during this process is that I learned a lot about the culture of Thailand. Another thing I learned was the process of researching to get the information that I needed, then putting it on paper.
- What Learning Happened here: The learning that happened here for me is that I learned about the country of Thailand including the history, food, points of interests, and some other interesting facts about Thailand. Other learning that happened here was I was learning how to work with others. I also learned about the other countries in Asia that other groups shared.
Next Steps
- What will you do to enhance/extend this learning: To enhance/extend this learning I will try to come up with new ideas to share the information. Also I would like to extend this learning by carrying on the cultural studies over at the high school and to carry on researching about this continent Asia.
- How will you deepen your understanding in this learning: To deepen my understanding of the culture of Thailand i will try to still research the country Thailand in my spare time and find out more than i already know. Also to deepen my understanding i will read some books and learn off others so that i am familiar with the country Thailand.
